When we have enough guests interested in dinner service on property, we can offer a fixed course menu.  Please inquire upon check in if interested. The castle is at the center of a small village, within walking distance of restaurants, local bars, a grocery store, dry cleaners, hair dressers, pharmacist, etc.

It is essential to hire a car to explore the countryside and view the beauty of the area. If you are not comfortable with driving then it is recommended to organize a private driver to-and-from our property and for daytrips.  Please inquire if you would like us to refer you to a car service.

Castello delle Serre offers a unique black bottom swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan hills, equipped with comfortable designer lawn chairs. Next to the pool is the alfresco-loggia featuring bar and stone tables with wrought iron chairs. Perched next to the pool area is an intimate gazebo bordered by white marble columns wrapped in wisteria vine, with outdoor sofa and chairs. Pool open seasonally from May 1 to October 1, weather permitting.

We also give recommendations for winery visits and how to best spend your day visiting the nearby town and villages. While you are having breakfast, we will help plan out your drive into the wine country, with detailed directions and the most hospitable wineries to visit.
